Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Head of Sales – Ethnic (North) to lead our ethnic channel sales across Northern UK. This is a key leadership role, responsible for developing strategic customer relationships, driving growth, and leading a high-performing team of regional sales managers. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the regional commercial strategy, increasing market penetration, and ensuring operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

– Develop and deliver a robust sales strategy for the ethnic channel in the North.

– Lead and support a team of Regional Sales Managers, ensuring performance targets are met.

– Build and manage senior relationships with key retail and wholesale partners.

– Identify market opportunities and develop initiatives to increase brand visibility and sales.

– Monitor sales performance and provide accurate forecasting and reporting.

– Work closely with Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to ensure commercial alignment.

– Stay abreast of competitor activity and market trends to inform decision-making.

– Ensure compliance with all commercial policies and procedures.

Skills & Experience

– Proven experience in a senior sales leadership role within the FMCG or ethnic grocery sector.

– Strong understanding of the UK ethnic trade landscape, particularly in the North.

– Demonstrable success in leading and developing sales teams.

– Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills.

– Commercially astute with a strong analytical mindset.

– Willingness to travel frequently within the region.
