Role Summary
As Engineering Coordinator, you’ll manage the planning, administration, and communication that support our engineering operations. From maintenance scheduling and spare part tracking to compliance documentation and contractor coordination — you’ll be the link that connects the team and keeps everything moving.
Key Responsibilities
Engineering Support and Planning
- Schedule preventative maintenance and coordinate engineer workloads
- Track outstanding work orders and ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks
- Support the Engineering Manager with resource planning, KPIs, and priorities
Inventory and Spare Parts
- Monitor engineering stock levels and reorder critical parts as required
- Maintain accurate records of parts usage, orders, and deliveries
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely availability of components
Documentation and Compliance
- Maintain up-to-date records of maintenance logs, equipment histories, and service reports
- Assist in preparing documentation for internal and external audits
- Track compliance with safety protocols and inspection schedules
Contractor and External Coordination
- Support the booking, onboarding, and supervision of engineering contractors
- Ensure contractors meet site health and safety and compliance requirements
Requirements
- Experience in engineering admin, maintenance coordination, or technical planning
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Good working knowledge of Excel, stock systems, and CMMS or maintenance software
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a busy environment
- Clear communication skills and ability to liaise with both engineers and suppliers
