Role Summary

As Engineering Coordinator, you’ll manage the planning, administration, and communication that support our engineering operations. From maintenance scheduling and spare part tracking to compliance documentation and contractor coordination — you’ll be the link that connects the team and keeps everything moving.

Key Responsibilities

Engineering Support and Planning

  • Schedule preventative maintenance and coordinate engineer workloads
  • Track outstanding work orders and ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks
  • Support the Engineering Manager with resource planning, KPIs, and priorities

Inventory and Spare Parts

  • Monitor engineering stock levels and reorder critical parts as required
  • Maintain accurate records of parts usage, orders, and deliveries
  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely availability of components

Documentation and Compliance

  • Maintain up-to-date records of maintenance logs, equipment histories, and service reports
  • Assist in preparing documentation for internal and external audits
  • Track compliance with safety protocols and inspection schedules

Contractor and External Coordination

  • Support the booking, onboarding, and supervision of engineering contractors
  • Ensure contractors meet site health and safety and compliance requirements

Requirements

  • Experience in engineering admin, maintenance coordination, or technical planning
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Good working knowledge of Excel, stock systems, and CMMS or maintenance software
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a busy environment
  • Clear communication skills and ability to liaise with both engineers and suppliers
