LST Projects is a sixth-generation, family-run contractor with a proud heritage spanning 130 years. We specialise in high-quality construction and refurbishment projects across the education, healthcare, community, and research sectors, delivering excellence throughout the South of England.

We are looking for a Sales Admin & Business Development Support to join our Sales and Estimating team in Chandler’s Ford. This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build a career in sales support and business development within a well-established company.

Please note this is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday. The role will require you to work from our Chandlers Ford office.

About the Role

The purpose of this role is to actively seek new business opportunities, build on existing client relationships, and maintain consistent contact with potential new clients. You will be responsible for managing and updating the CRM platform (HubSpot), ensuring all communications, leads, and interactions are accurately recorded and followed up.

This role is key to ensuring LST remains customer-focused, responsive to new opportunities, and well-positioned within the marketplace. It combines lead generation, relationship management, and administrative support, contributing directly to the smooth running of the sales function and supporting the continued growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the sales team
  • Monitor and track new business leads using platforms such as Barbour ABI, BIP Solutions, and Planning Portal
  • Prioritise and manage new leads in HubSpot, scheduling follow-up calls and tracking all communications
  • Maintain and update CRM records, sales trackers, and client information
  • Assist in the organisation and follow-up of sales leads and enquiries
  • Handle customer enquiries professionally, providing prompt and accurate responses
  • Liaise with the Marketing and Business Development Manager to develop bespoke marketing literature when required
  • Attend daily catch-up meetings with the Sales and Estimating Director to plan daily and upcoming tasks
  • Provide regular updates in team meetings on up-and-coming tenders, new project leads, and positive client conversations

Skills & Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a sales administrative or business development support role
  • Confident using CRM systems, ideally HubSpot, Salesforce, or Pipedrive
  • Familiarity with lead generation tools such as Barbour ABI, BIP Solutions, and Planning Portal (desirable)
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking skills with strong attention to detail
  • Professional and effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities
  • Customer-focused and commercially aware
  • A strong communicator, capable of building trusted relationships internally and externally
