LSP Canada is seeking a full-time Accounting Associate for our London office to support Canadian accounting and tax services. This role involves hands-on accounting work, preparation of working papers, and support of Canadian tax filings under CRA regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with preparation of financial statements and working papers
  • Support Canadian personal and corporate tax filings (T1, T2)
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts and accounting records
  • Assist with HST/GST, payroll, and CRA compliance filings
  • Support month-end and year-end accounting close
  • Communicate with Canadian clients to obtain and clarify financial data
  • Maintain accurate and organized accounting documentation

Qualifications & Skills

  • Accounting education or equivalent Canadian experience
  • Understanding of Canadian accounting standards and CRA requirements
  • Proficiency with Canadian accounting and tax software
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills

Preferred

  • Experience in a Canadian public accounting or tax firm
  • Progress toward CPA Canada designation

Mandatory Requirements / Eligibility

  • Experience working with Canadian clients and CRA regulations
  • Familiarity with Canadian tax forms and accounting practices
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada
  • Ability to work on-site in Windsor, Ontario
  • Availability during peak Canadian tax season (February–April)
