Part of LSL Property Services plc, PRIMIS Mortgage Network is the largest Mortgage and Protection Network in the UK with some 1000 firms as business partners and circa 3000 advisers working alongside us, jointly amounting to some 12% of the mortgage market share. LSL’s FS division also includes TMA Direct Life and Linear Financial Solutions.
We are keen to recruit a Strategic Partnerships Manager to manage new and existing relationships across Protection General Insurance and Private Medical Insurance. This role presents an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Financial Services Intermediary professional to contribute to the success of our Financial Services Division.
The role will be predominantly home based but with regular travel to our site in Solihull. It includes the management of new and existing relationships across Protection General Insurance and Private Medical Insurance, driving commercial value for the LSL Financial Services Division whilst enhancing the proposition for our Mortgage Network Appointed Representatives and Mortgage Club Directly Authorised members and their customers.
Overall Strategic Partnership Responsibilities:- Work with new and existing provider partners to understand current and future proposition requirements and to ensure commercial opportunities are maximised.
- Provide robust detail and information to support the due diligence and onboarding of new providers joining the panel and assessing ongoing delivery of services.
- Effectively manage internal and provider MI to identify trends and harness any opportunities presented.
- Delivery of development workshops/webinars and promotion of propositions directly to brokers through effective relationship management.
- Working in partnership with providers to manage marketing plans maximising reach, broker engagement and securing required sponsorship income.
- Lead and develop campaigns with launching products and propositions that reflect the current landscape, regulatory environment and overall business objectives.
- Work with provider relationship managers to ensure early engagement of new propositions and secure commercial advantage for the network and mortgage club and our brokers.
- Work in collaboration with the Product Governance team ensuring our provider partners meet the requirements of our governance framework.
- Work in conjunction with the product desk team to deliver team expertise on the protection and GI market ensuring exceptional support to brokers and strong provider launches.
- Have a broad and detailed understanding of the UK mortgage protection and GI market and regulatory landscape.
- Excellent understanding of UK protection and insurance distribution (networks and clubs).
- Ideally has established contacts with protection and insurer providers, mortgage brokers and distributors.
- Excellent relationship management, business development, networking, collaboration and communication skills.
- Able to work independently and results focused.
- Substantial knowledge and experience of financial services distribution.
- The ability to influence key internal and external stakeholders at a variety of levels.
- Experience of working in a diverse business environment.
Salary: 55,000 – 65,000 DOE, negotiable
