Mortgage Administrator / Paraplanner to join a super busy Appointed Representative partner firm (AR) of PRIMIS Mortgage Network’s Mortgage Advisory operation.
Our highly valued AR partner is a high quality, super busy and successful Mortgage & Protection advisory business based in Islington.
The firm have a team of
17 Advisors and an Administration team.
They are now keen to expand their team with a Paraplanner supporting the directors alongside the processing of Product Transfers and Remortgage Business.
We are specifically looking for a minimum of 5 years’ experience of Mortgage Administration or Advisory within a
Mortgage Brokerage .
Ideally the paraplanner will have previous or current Advisory experience and is now looking for a more administrative role without the requirements to source their own new business or have the pressure of selling to new customers.
Base Monies are DOE and negotiable of circa £30,000 - £35,000 alongside an expected commission element of a further £5,000 - £7,000 per annum
The role is hybrid working with a minimum of 2 days per week required in the office.
- Working directly alongside the Directors, your responsibilities will include:
- Researching mortgage and protection solutions using industry sourcing systems.
- Preparing research and recommendations to support client advice.
- Submitting mortgage and protection applications to lenders and insurers.
- Helping our Sales Progression team move cases from application through to completion.
- Liaising with clients, lenders, insurers, solicitors and third parties.
- Chasing outstanding information and proactively moving cases forward.
- Drafting client correspondence, summaries and supporting documentation.
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance requirements are met.
Skills & Experience Required
- Ideally hold the relevant mortgage and protection qualifications.
- Have experience within a mortgage and protection environment.
- Be confident researching mortgage and protection solutions independently.
- Have experience submitting and managing cases with lenders and providers.
- Be highly organised and able to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
- Possess excellent telephone skills and be comfortable speaking with clients and professional contacts.
- Have exceptional written communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Take ownership of their work and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills.
