Hybrid role based in West Midlands, part of LSL Property Services plc Financial Services division. PRIMIS Mortgage Network is the largest Mortgage and Protection Network in the UK with circa 1000 Mortgage & Insurance firms as business partners and approaching 3000 advisors.
Role Purpose
Oversee and manage all aspects of financial planning and analysis group reporting, monthly consolidation & board packs. Coordinate the business plan & forecast cycles. Provide top‑down view, long‑range business plan, and distill the story for CFO / Board Level.
Main Accountabilities
- Budget / Forecast coordination & consolidation
- Primary contact for group queries
- Production of packs & decks for FS / LSL board presentations
- CFO support & high‑level modelling
- Production of 3 Year plans
- Monthly accounts consolidation & telling the story
- Scenario modelling
- Risks & opportunities
- CFO state of the nation report
- Top‑down business planning
- Support on investment opportunities
- Group reporting cashflow forecast
- Support CFO on all Corporate Governance
- Distribute board minutes to CFO DRs
Knowledge and Expertise required
- Educated to degree level or equivalent
- Professional accountancy qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Experience of working in financial services industry preferable
- Working at Executive level and preferably experience at board level in terms of report writing and presentations
- Co‑ordination of professional finance teams
- Building detailed models and forecasts in a complex environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Organised and able to influence other teams to achieve deadlines
- Understand, interpret and apply information
- Strong modelling and analytic skills
- Excellent analytical skills with ability to think independently and draw conclusions
- Able to pull the story out from the detail to an exec level summary
Essential requirements
- 3 years post qualification
- AAT qualified / Studying for ACCA / ACA / CIMA
- 3 years in similar roles
Salary and Benefits
Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 DOE, negotiable plus bonus. Enhanced pension alongside access to plc linked share‑based incentives when available. Full time hybrid with home and our Solihull HQ. Car allowance payable with this role is included in the base salary advertised.
