Part of LSL Property Services plc, LSL’s Financial Services Division includes PRIMIS Mortgage Network, TMA, and Linear Financial Solutions. The division has a mortgage market share of one in nine of the purchase and remortgage market in the UK. We are keen to recruit a Broker Propositions Director (reporting to our Chief Distribution Officer) to join our strong Distribution team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a highly experienced intermediary professional to contribute to the continued success of our Financial Services Division.

The successful candidate will lead the development of our broker proposition, including supporting the definition and understanding of the segmentation of the DA & AR membership and engaging with AR & DA Brokers to understand and prioritize the division's propositional development.

Role Purpose:

  • Lead the development of our broker proposition, supporting the segmentation and understanding of the DA & AR membership.
  • Engage with AR & DA Brokers to understand and prioritize propositional development.
  • Lead communication and advocacy of our existing proposition, including our technology transformation.
  • Participate in market engagement regarding our propositional strategy.
  • Define a clear strategy for services each membership cohort should receive, at what price, and at what service level.

Main Accountabilities:

  • Develop strategy and plans based on a prioritized proposition runway, collaborating with marketing and sales teams to take these to market.
  • Develop new partnerships and build strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Work with colleagues to develop and launch new products and services, including recommendation, launch, embedding, and ongoing management.
  • Promote the product proposition across the business.
  • Oversee and monitor the business proposition to ensure it remains fit for purpose for AR & DA markets and is well understood by stakeholders.
  • Support inclusion and diversity initiatives.
  • Champion necessary changes to support business growth aligned with Board and shareholder expectations.
  • Act as an ambassador for the company, positively influencing external stakeholders and promoting customer value.

Knowledge and Experience required:

  • Extensive understanding of the Financial Services industry, operating within regulatory requirements to achieve commercial and customer outcomes.
  • Financial Services experience in a similar role with a strong understanding of the intermediary market.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proven leadership in product strategy, launching new commercial products, and understanding relevant regulatory guidelines.

Salary and Benefits:

Base salary £70,000 - £80,000 DOE, plus bonus and benefits including Private Healthcare, Enhanced Pension, and share-based opportunities when available.

Location:

The role is based at home, with visits to our HQ sites in Chippenham and Solihull as needed, along with extensive travel across the UK.
