We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Management Accountant on a 13 month fixed term contract to cover a period of maternity leave. This is a remote based role, with an ideal start date of June 30th.
Responsibilities
- Business Partner
- Work closely with non-finance stakeholders to understand cost centre financial/non-financial performance
- Co-ordinate and lead regular reviews with senior management to discuss historic and upcoming performance
- Drive forward / reinforce / challenge a finance agenda in a non-finance environment
- Providing upward feedback to finance management on business updates
- Management Accounting
- Ownership of producing financial results
- Continual development of reporting packs and processes
- Coordination of period end timetable across finance function
- Ownership of budgeting and forecasting for relevant cost centres
- Establishing key working relations across the finance function
- Systems & Processes
- Provide insight and solutions to the on-going development of the finance system
- Support Management Accountants and Financial Operations Manager on testing / development of new processes and procedures
- Continually challenge processes to identify and deliver improvements in efficiency and effectiveness
- Support on adhoc projects
