Trading since 1989, e.surv Chartered Surveyors is the UK\’s number one residential surveyor and the largest provider of property risk expertise and residential surveying services. To put it into numbers, we complete more than one property inspection every 12 seconds and employ over 600 surveyors from Land\’s End to John O\’Groats and Northern Ireland. This gives us the flexibility to offer nationwide coverage combined with invaluable local knowledge.
We\’re part of the LSL Property Services Group PLC which includes household names Your Move and Reeds Rains as well as the mortgage network PRIMIS. We work with lenders, intermediaries, social housing entities and estate agents in addition to private customers.
Applications AnalystRole PurposesThe role is to provide testing, configuration and support for e.surv\’s business applications. It will include the support of system issues; designing and implementing solutions with our business applications (workflows, app config); and completing Testing for Software releases across the Applications estate.
This is a hybrid role.
Main Accountabilities
Technical lead for key business applications (\”go to person\” for the business and day to day contact with suppliers)
Design new solutions, and apply configuration to e.surv applications to meet the requirements of stakeholders
Assist Lenders in testing solutions that integrate with e.surv applications
Support of business applications in use at e.surv (Quest, SurveyHub, SurveyBooker, Sunrise etc) – troubleshooting and liaising with suppliers to identify workarounds to issue, and ultimately resolutions
Accountability for the testing specific applications in use at e.surv (Quest, SurveyHub etc) – creating and executing test plans
Shared responsibility for operating the Change Management process, including ensuring stakeholders are following the correct process at all times
Adhere to the Request For Change process for all application/Workflow changes
Ensuring the support ticketing system is kept up to date at all times
Highlight to the line manager any concerns regarding conflicting duties or areas of responsibility.
Operate within the processes, policies and standards of e.Surv information security management system, aligned to ISO27001
Adhere to all policies and operating procedures of the IT department.

Working understanding of Change Management processes.
Desirable
Extensive experience gained in supporting or being \”power user\” of critical business applications in a similar role
Experience in supporting or being \”power user\” of integrated business applications
Demonstrable knowledge of creating and/or executing Test Plans
Experience in design solutions and configuring applications to meet stakeholder requirements
Qualifications
ITIL v2, or v3 Foundation (desirable)
Good level of standard numeracy and literacy.
Knowledge of software development processes (desirable)
