LSH Auto are looking for a Vehicle Technician to join our morning shift at our Stockport Preparation Centre. This is more than a traditional technician role. We are looking for people who are passionate about vehicles, take pride in doing things properly and want the opportunity to continue developing their skills as automotive technology evolves.

Whether you already have manufacturer experience or you're looking for the opportunity to take the next step in your technical career, we will provide you with the support, training and development to help you progress. A major part of the development will be access to Mercedes-Benz and BYD manufacturer-specific training and accreditation, giving you the opportunity to develop your expertise across the latest petrol, diesel, hybrid and fully electric vehicle technologies.

Welcome Bonus: £2,000 plus guaranteed bonus for the first 3 months

Working Hours: 40 hours per week

Salary: Earn up to £54,000, plus overtime

Requirements:

  • Working within our Stockport Preparation Centre, you will be responsible for preparing vehicles to the high technical standards expected by LSH Auto and our customers.
  • Carrying out vehicle servicing, maintenance, inspection and repair.
  • Diagnosing faults and completing repairs accurately and efficiently.
  • Identifying additional work required to ensure vehicles meet our preparation standards.
  • Working across an increasingly diverse range of vehicle technologies, including hybrid and fully electric vehicles.
  • Maintaining accurate records of work completed.
  • Working closely with colleagues across the Preparation Centre to help vehicles progress efficiently through the preparation process.
  • Maintaining a safe, clean and professional working environment.
  • Taking ownership of the quality of your work and delivering a right-first-time approach.
  • Previous Mercedes-Benz, BYD, EV or Hybrid experience would be advantageous, but not essential.
