LSH Auto is on the lookout for a motivated Vehicle Damage Assessor to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing vehicle damage and providing accurate estimates for repair costs, ensuring that our customers receive prompt and fair service.
Hours: 45 per week
Salary: Up to £32,850 plus OTE bonus
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting detailed inspections of damaged vehicles to assess repair needs
- Preparing accurate and detailed cost estimates for repairs and parts required
- Collaborating with the bodyshop team to ensure efficient workflow and timely repairs
- Communicating effectively with customers to explain repair processes and costs
- Maintaining a high standard of customer service throughout the estimating process
- Keeping up to date with industry standards and technologies related to vehicle repairs
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Bodyshop Estimator or a similar role within the automotive industry
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills for accurate damage assessments
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members
- Sound knowledge of vehicle bodywork repair processes and parts
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office applications
- A valid UK driving licence
