Senior Onsite Voice and Video Engineer
Join to apply for the Senior Onsite Voice and Video Engineer role at LSEG. This role falls within the EUC Voice and Video team reporting to the EMEA Regional Manager of Infrastructure, Cloud & Engineering in London. The role focuses on providing day‑to‑day service for AV/VC requirements to staff within the London Stock Exchange Group. Responsibilities include both BAU and project work.
Responsibilities
- Deliver a professional AV/VC service to our workforce, including meeting room setup and stakeholder coordination.
- Design, deploy and manage enterprise‑scale AV systems, DSPs, AVoIP, digital signage/IPTV and cloud‑based VC solutions.
- Manage Microsoft Teams Meeting Room environment and related tools such as Microsoft Pro Portal and Teams Admin Centre.
- Proactively troubleshoot AV issues, especially for large town halls and global events.
- Plan and execute AV design from concept to production.
- Apply video and audio standards, including acoustic treatment and sound‑video processing.
- Process booking requests, handle escalations and ensure timely response.
- Perform daily checks and benchmark testing on all AV spaces and raise faults with third‑party vendors.
- Provide customer‑focused service and resolve user problems.
- Collaborate with local and global teams to support issues requiring our attention.
- Monitor, report and recommend improvements to the overall AV support service.
- Understand digital signage, large video walls, AV rack building and network topology; work with vendors such as Qsys, CISCO, Poly, AppSpace, Shure, Sennheiser, NEC and Audio Dante.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the O365 platform.
- Communicate to key personnel at a technical level and uphold high standards for AV reliability and best‑practice protocols.
Candidate Profile & Key Skills
- Experience supporting AV/VC environments; CTS/AVIXA/Qsys/Dante certification preferred.
- Knowledge of MS Teams Meeting Rooms and O365 environment.
- Vendor management – raise tickets, set expectations and chase vendor SLAs with Kinly, NEC, Polycom, Cisco etc.
- Strong understanding of IT support processes and escalation procedures.
- Administer and maintain MS Teams room conferencing devices, specifically Poly (HP) devices.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours.
- Perform thorough root cause analysis and best‑practice troubleshooting techniques defined by vendors and personal experience.
Key Behaviours

- Strong knowledge and troubleshooting skills across a wide range of corporate technologies.
