LSEG Regulatory Reporting is the London Stock Exchange's regulatory reporting, matching and reconciliation solution provider. LSEG Regulatory Reporting customers are investment banks, hedge funds, brokers and other financial services firms.
LSEG Regulatory Reporting provides business solutions in the areas of:
- Regulatory Reporting with MiFIR, EMIR, G20 and other regimes
- Provision of reference data (especially financial instruments data)
- Reconciliations (cash/stock, front-back office, exchange recs, etc.)
- Operational post-trade services in the fields of: confirmations communication and matching for multiple asset classes, communication of orders, hedges and give-ups for equity swaps and other derivatives
- Analytics and surveillance of the data above
Typical users sit in Trade Support or Regulatory Operations functions and the typical buyer would be a senior Trade Support/Regulatory Operations or Compliance person.
The culture of the LSEG Regulatory Reporting team is dynamic, and requires each individual to adapt rapidly to change, contribute fully and think on their feet. This role involves ongoing interaction with all other areas (sales, pre-sales, professional services, development & QA, customer support, technical writing, marketing), as well as with partners and customers.
Role Responsibilities
- Elicit, analyse, and document business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate with Product Owners and Scrum Teams to prioritize the product backlog and refine user stories.
- Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure clarity and alignment.
- Lead or support Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Create and maintain documentation including process flows, data mappings, business cases, and project charters.
- Coordinate cross-functional project activities, track progress, and manage risks/issues to ensure timely delivery.
- Analyse business processes, identify areas for improvement, and recommend actionable solutions.
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT), defect triage, and deployment planning.
- Monitor and report on project and sprint metrics to stakeholders.
Minimum Requirements
- General experience (essential)
- Track record of business analysis delivery in an Agile environment
- Solid Regulatory Reporting expertise in MIFIR or similar regulatory experience
- Able to analyse business needs and activities and translate them into LSEG Regulatory Reporting solution requirements
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and business process modelling skills.
- Able to evaluate information with sound judgement, attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience / Interest in requirement driven test automation
- Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to manage relationships effectively
- Knowledge of cash equity, derivative and fixed income markets
- Sound written and verbal communication skills
- Must be self-motivated and have a desire to engage in process improvement
Technical experience (desirable)
- Basic knowledge of software development lifecycle
- Knowledge of cloud and big data platforms
- Knowledge of general computer science concepts / willingness to learn these on the job
