You will be part of the Cloud & Productivity Engineering organisation within the Enterprise Technology division of LSEG. We deliver foundational cloud platform and developer experiences enabling LSEG to thrive in the cloud. We are building a world‑class CI/CD platform for deploying applications to the cloud that run critical business functions for LSEG customers. This CI/CD platform is the common developer experience for the software development teams across LSEG that enables us to continue thriving in the cloud in a safe and well‑managed way by standardising processes and automating compliance and security requirements.
Responsibilities
- Develop and communicate the product vision and strategy for our AWS platform, aligning the product roadmap to business requirements to accelerate application migrations.
- Gather and analyse customer feedback, market trends and business insights to inform our AWS platform engineering and automation strategy.
- Foster strong relationships with key business units and application teams to understand their needs and problems.
- Work closely with engineering teams to design, build and enhance platform capabilities and features.
- Engage key customers (Engineers, Architecture, Risk and Cyber) directly through a variety of business channels to serve as the voice of the customer internally – identifying new AWS platform capabilities, defining product features and working closely with development teams to get those capabilities incorporated.
- Own and prioritise the long‑term (12‑18 months) AWS platform roadmap to deliver on business outcomes.
- Work closely with tech leadership to understand the trade‑offs of technical decisions and how they impact the customer experience your team will deliver.
- Define critical OKRs, milestones and metrics for the AWS platform product and responsibly track those measures, with an eye to adjusting and refining your roadmap as the data dictates.
- Promote best practices in software development, DevOps and infrastructure management.
- Have an end‑to‑end understanding of how to create a cohesive platform experience for our application teams.
Requirements
- Proven experience in technical product management, product design or software engineering.
- At least 5 years of AWS cloud technology or related experience in an energetic enterprise‑facing business.
- Demonstrated technical expertise and strategic agility in proposing cloud platform innovations while influencing cross‑departmental stakeholders in a fast‑paced environment.
- Experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer‑facing digital products.
- Experience with AWS cloud platforms, cloud modernisations, well‑architected principles, CI/CD and DevOps expertise.
- Thought leader with a solid understanding of the key cloud business drivers and customer dynamics in high‑tech industries.
- Analytical and quantitative skills, experience using hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated experience engaging and influencing senior executives.
- Strong work ethic as a team player and a willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done.
