Job Overview

Team Lead, Global Strategic Partner Directors is responsible for leading a high‑performing team of senior strategic Partner Directors focused on driving long‑term revenue growth, customer value, and executive engagement across the LSEG's most important global partnerships.

The role serves as a trusted advisor to key partners while providing leadership, coaching, and strategic direction to a team managing complex partner accounts in AI, Broker, Cloud, Reseller, Cosell, Risk, Data & Feeds.

The successful candidate will align organizational capabilities with global partner objectives and work cross‑functionally with sales, product, content, operations, legal and senior leadership teams to maximize commercial outcomes and strengthen strategic partnerships.

The role reports to the Global Head of Partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Global Strategic Directors to achieve revenue, retention, and strategic partner objectives.
  • Establish clear performance expectations, development plans, and succession strategies.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, customer centricity, and commercial excellence.
  • Build and maintain executive‑level relationships with C‑suite stakeholders and decision‑makers.
  • Serve as an escalation point for commercial discussions and strategic partner initiatives.
  • Develop long‑term partnership strategies that deliver mutual value and competitive differentiation.
  • Drive revenue growth, retention, and expansion across strategic accounts.
  • Identify new business opportunities, white space, and cross‑functional growth initiatives.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and client priorities to inform growth strategies.
  • Partner with Product, Technology, Content, Operations, and Marketing teams to align solutions with customer needs.
  • Champion client and partner feedback to influence product roadmaps and strategic investments.
  • Coordinate resources across multiple business units to ensure successful execution of strategic initiatives.
  • Track key performance indicators, business outcomes, and partner sales enablement initiatives.
  • Prepare and present business reviews, strategic updates, and growth plans to senior leadership.
  • Support organizational transformation initiatives and strategic projects as required.

Qualifications

  • Experienced leader from a global, diverse environment.
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in strategic account management, enterprise sales, partnerships, or business development.
  • 5+ years of people‑leadership experience managing senior commercial professionals.
  • Proven track record of managing large, global accounts and strategic partnerships.
  • Strong executive presence with experience engaging C‑suite stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated success in leading complex negotiations and driving revenue growth.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder‑management skills.
  • Experience working in highly matrixed, global organisations.

Compensation & Benefits

LSEG offers a competitive base salary of $161,300‑$268,900, with variations by geography.

The role is eligible for an Annual Incentive Plan (AIP) commensurate with the role level.
