Senior Product Manager — FX Execution Workflows (At-Trade)
Role Summary
LSEG is seeking a Senior Product Manager to own product strategy, roadmap and execution for FX execution workflows and applications across our Workspace and FX trading ecosystem.
The role is focused on solving client workflow problems at scale, defining high-value product capabilities, and delivering measurable outcomes across the at-trade lifecycle.
This individual will partner closely with Proposition, Engineering, UX and Delivery teams to translate customer needs, market insight and business priorities into a clear product vision, prioritised roadmap and actionable delivery plans.
The successful candidate will lead product discovery, make informed trade-off decisions, and optimise end-to-end workflows to improve user experience, adoption and business outcomes.
The ideal candidate combines deep FX domain expertise with RFQ, Streaming and Central Limit Order Book platforms, ECNs and venues, trading algos, alongside strong product management execution capabilities.
This will include experience leading agile squads, backlog management, roadmap prioritisation and close collaboration with engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and own product roadmap and execution for FX at-trade workflows and Workspace applications.
- Lead product discovery with clients and internal stakeholders to identify workflow pain points, validate opportunities and shape differentiated product capabilities.
- Translate customer needs, market insight and business objectives into prioritised product initiatives, requirements and delivery plans.
- Work closely with Proposition & Strategy, Engineering, UX and Delivery teams to define requirements, prioritise backlogs and lead agile product execution.
- Manage and prioritise product backlogs, epics and user stories across multiple squads and delivery streams.
- Make informed trade-off decisions across scope, sequencing and delivery to maximise value and speed to market.
- Ensure strong alignment across pre-trade, at-trade and post-trade workflow initiatives to deliver integrated client experiences.
- Define success metrics and monitor product performance using quantitative and qualitative feedback to drive continuous improvement.
- Partner with Proposition, Sales and Customer Success teams by providing product expertise, roadmap context and delivery updates to support client engagement and adoption.
- Communicate roadmap progress, priorities, dependencies and strategic direction to senior stakeholders and leadership teams.
- Required Experience & Skills
- Significant experience in Product Management within FX electronic trading, execution workflows or capital markets platforms.
- Strong understanding of FX execution workflows, market structure and electronic trading ecosystems.
- Experience with products and platforms related to RFQ, Streaming and Central Limit Order Book platforms, ECNs and venues, trading algos platforms..
- Proven experience working within Agile/Scrum delivery environments, including leading squads and managing product backlogs.
- Strong experience translating strategic objectives into executable product roadmaps and delivery priorities.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence across business and technology teams.
- Experience partnering closely with Engineering teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a data-driven approach to decision making.
- Commercial awareness with the ability to balance customer value, business impact and delivery feasibility in product decisions.
- Ability to operate independently and lead initiatives in complex matrix organisations.
- Strong collaboration and leadership skills with the ability to build alignment across diverse teams.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with Workspace applications and workflow integrations.
- Knowledge of API-driven trading workflows and interoperability across trading platforms.
- Familiarity with UX-led product development and workflow optimisation.
- Experience within global financial markets or electronic trading environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Technology or related discipline.
