Role description
This Senior Manager role will report to the LCH Business Controls Officer. This is a first line specialist role focusing on Operational Resilience for the entity as a whole. The role focuses on championing high-quality resilience management practices, assessing and monitoring the resilience profile of the Important Business Services within the entity, and ensuring alignment with Group Frameworks and compliance with the Bank of England Operational Resilience Policy expectations, DORA and any other global regulatory operational resilience requirements.
Key responsibilities of the role:
- Lead the coordination, creation and reporting of the Operational Resilience Self-Assessment including coordination and oversight for the completion of the associated activities:
- Service identification and prioritisation
- Service dependency mapping
- Impact Tolerance reviews
- Vulnerability assessment
Skills, knowledge & experience:
- Experience in Operational Resilience, Operational Risk or Business Continuity (financial services experience ideal).
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise.
- Strong knowledge of the Bank of England Operational Resilience Policy.
- Confident communicator, able to produce clear documentation and presentations.
- Comfortable working independently, taking initiative, and using sound judgement.
- Strong relationshipâbuilding skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Good problemâsolving ability with a proactive, canâdo approach.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and confident using Microsoft 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint).
- Knowledge of regulatory expectations.
- Questioning and continuous improvement mentality.
