What you'll be doing

  • Teams & Workforce – Shape talent strategy, develop a culture of recognition, and manage contractor and vendor relationships with the same rigor as permanent teams.
  • Risk & Controls – Proactively manage operational, technology and cyber risk, turning compliance into an enabler.
  • Financial Management – Own the financial picture end‑to‑end, from investment planning to spend tracking across people, cloud, software and projects.

You will be responsible for

  • Running governance forums and quarterly planning cycles.
  • Producing executive‑level reporting and business cases.
  • Driving workforce strategy and contractor management.
  • Managing operational risk processes and control adoption.
  • Ensuring financial accuracy, forecasting and transparency.

What you'll bring

  • Strong financial instincts – budget management, forecasting and cost spotting.
  • Portfolio‑level risk, dependency and change management skills.
  • Workforce strategy experience – balancing permanent hires, contractors, vendors and future skills.
  • Ability to build trusting relationships with engineering teams and senior leadership.
  • Clear, compelling communication – business cases, board papers, executive briefs.
  • A drive to challenge status‑quo and automate, simplify, and improve processes.

It would also be great if you bring

  • Familiarity with financial services, market data or fintech.
  • Experience with agile delivery methodologies and product‑led ways of working.
