This is a unique opportunity to join the Data & Analytics Division as an Investment Planning & Management Manager at a time of growth and development. The Investment Planning & Management Manager will support strategic planning for D&A Transformation across Group Strategic Programmes, the Microsoft Partnership, other M&A, and the BAU Transformation portfolio, which typically consists of a total annual budget of £300m+.
The manager will work with senior business stakeholders, Portfolio Directors, Transformation PMO and Finance to support the objectives of delivering robust capex allocation, outcome management and revenue/cost benefit tracking to support effective execution of D&A strategy.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Run detailed analysis to underpin the capital allocation process, ensuring that the Division optimises Return on Investment, Strategic capability build and Risk & Resilience requirements.
- Work closely with the D&A Business Managers/COOs, Transformation PMs and Group Corporate Functions (Finance, Risk, Sales) teams to support the development of investment cases for new pivotal initiatives and M&A projects, and formulate implementation plans with relevant partners.
- Collaborate with Transformation Delivery and PMO to understand upcoming portfolio delivery challenges and potential risk and opportunities this poses to budgets and benefits pipeline.
- Support performance tracking and MI against Integration and Transformation projects.
- Potentially manage Associate/Senior Associate level resource in the team.

- Experience of working in a matrix organisation with a small team requiring leadership (as opposed to management) skills.
- Proven strategy development and translation into executable steps, development and tracking.
- Self‑starter with a commitment to excellence and a positive approach.
- Ability to articulate and translate ideas into audience‑appropriate communication.
- Excellent interpersonal and presenting skills at all levels of the organisation, including key investors/Board members.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel to advanced level.
