As Head of AI Workforce Transformation, you will own LSEG's enterprise strategy for understanding, designing, and managing the workforce implications of AI. You will set the frameworks, guardrails, and design authority that enable divisions to act consistently and at pace. Operating as a strategic advisor to the CPO, ExCo, AI COE and divisional leadership, you will build and enable a hub‑and‑spoke model that embeds AI workforce transformation capability across Business People Partners, Country People Partners and the broader People Function.
Key Accountability Pillars
- Enterprise AI Workforce Strategy
- Own LSEG's multi‑year AI workforce transformation roadmap, aligned to the Group AI Strategy and People Function priorities.
- Translate AI strategy into clear workforce, skills and organisational implications.
- Lead task‑level decomposition of work – identifying where AI augments, automates or fundamentally reshapes roles and decisions.
- Define how productivity gains from AI are measured and how they translate into workforce capacity, redeployment or investment decisions.
- Organisation & Job Redesign
- Set enterprise principles and guardrails for human + AI task allocation and role redesign.
- Prevent fragmented, inconsistent job redesign across LSEG divisions.
- Accelerate transition to skills‑based and dynamic workforce models – aligned with workforce planning journey.
- Define accountability, human oversight and escalation frameworks for AI‑augmented work.
- Change, Adoption & Leadership Enablement
- Lead the enterprise AI change and adoption strategy including adoption of general AI technology, coordinating between Engineering, AI COE, Learning and Communications teams.
- Enable leaders and managers to operate effectively in AI‑augmented environments.
- Redefine managerial accountabilities, performance expectations and spans of control.
- Drive employee trust, behavioural change and new ways of working at scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and own LSEG's enterprise AI workforce transformation strategy, aligning with the Group AI Strategy and People Priorities.
- Lead task‑level decomposition of work across key functions, identifying where AI augments, automates or reshapes roles and decisions.
- Develop and govern enterprise frameworks for job and organisation redesign in an AI‑enabled environment, ensuring consistency and accountability across divisions.
- Act as strategic advisor and design authority to CPO, ExCo and divisional leaders on all AI workforce transformation decisions.
- Upskill and enable Business People Partners (BPPs) and Country People Partners (CPPs) to confidently support their business leaders through AI‑related workforce change, operating a hub‑and‑spoke delivery model.
- Design and execute the enterprise AI change and adoption strategy, embedding trust and behavioural change at scale.
- Support and partner with People COE to redefine managerial accountabilities, performance expectations and people leader operating models for an AI‑augmented environment.
- Support and accelerate AI workforce governance, ensuring human oversight, accountability frameworks and regulatory compliance are embedded in all decisions.
- Build and maintain external partnerships and intelligence networks, drawing on best practice from peers, vendors and research institutions.
- Operate as a cross‑functional connector across People, Engineering, Finance, Risk and Data to ensure coherent enterprise‑wide execution.
Skills and Experience
- Significant experience in senior HR, People Strategy or Organisational Transformation roles.
- Proven track record leading large‑scale, complex workforce transformation programmes – including operating model redesign, capability building and culture change.
- Deep understanding of AI's impact on the workforce – including skills displacement, job architecture evolution, and the ethics of AI in people decisions.
- Experience influencing and advising at ExCo and Board level on people strategy; outstanding executive presence and communication skills.
- Strong commercial acumen, able to connect people strategy to business outcomes, productivity metrics and shareholder value.
- Demonstrable capability in change management at enterprise scale – including communications, stakeholder engagement and cultural embedding.
- Experience in financial services, fintech, data & analytics or technology sectors preferred.
- Experience deploying AI tools within people processes (talent acquisition, performance management, workforce planning, L&D) at scale.
- Working knowledge of EU AI Act high‑risk classification requirements and their application to HR/People decisions.
- Track record of managing strategic vendor or technology partnerships at the C‑suite level.
- Familiarity with skills‑based organisation models, talent marketplace platforms or workforce analytics tools.
