Reporting to the Global Head of Sustainable Investment Research, the Climate Research Analyst will work within the Sustainable Finance & Investment (SFI) Research Team in the Data & Analytics division of LSEG.
The Climate Research Analyst will develop and improve country‑level and corporate climate‑related scoring models and assessment tools, and co‑author high‑profile thematic publications on climate and sustainability.
Candidates should bring a passion for sustainability, climate analysis, and experience or strong curiosity in research within an investment context. Strong interpersonal skills, enabling effective engagement with clients and collaborators, are highly valued.
- Ideally 2+ years of experience in quantitative and qualitative climate research; investment context experience is preferred.
- Ability to effectively engage collaborators with varying demands – both internal (operations and technology teams) and external (clients, standard setters, regulators).
- Strong analytical skills; proficiency in Python or similar tools is highly desirable; experience with LLMs is an asset.
- Proven track record of producing impactful publications and strong analytical writing and presentation skills.
- Experience in developing climate‑related analytics products and frameworks is a plus.
- Comfortable with change in a fast‑paced environment and working collaboratively as a team player.
