Business Analyst Graduate Programme(2026) – LSEG, City of London, United Kingdom.

Programme start date: September 2026. One application covers multiple graduate programme opportunities within LSEG. The programme is a rotational experience within LSEG’s Markets division, combining Capital Markets and Post Trade businesses to offer a comprehensive suite of solutions across a global financial ecosystem.

You will gain exposure to platforms and services across financial markets, trading, data and technology, with rotations designed to develop core competencies in business analysis, data, andFinTech/Technology alignment.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in a 12-month development journey to build foundational skills for future roles within LSEG Markets.
  • Join a global induction and divisional-led inductions to immerse graduates into the business.
  • Contribute to group projects aligned to LSEG goals and collaborate with a global cohort.
  • Engage in mid-point skills offsite to explore knowledge areas and develop capabilities.
  • Work on activities that support raising and trading capital, post-trade operations, risk management, and data/tools delivery (e.g., World-Check and identity verification).
  • Gain exposure to platforms such as FXall and Tradeweb and work with clients worldwide to shape the future of financial markets.

What we are looking for

  • Interest in financial markets evidenced through studies, work experience, or extracurricular activities.
  • Comfort with large data sets and ability to code in languages such as Python or SQL, or familiarity with tools like Tableau or Power BI.
  • Curiosity for data with ability to analyze information, draw conclusions and propose solutions.
  • Strategic thinking and ability to connect disparate information.
  • Resilience, focus, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Studying a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics discipline, or Finance/Economics with FinTech/Technology inclination.
  • Right to work in the UK without restrictions for the duration of the programme and a plan to join on a permanent basis from day one (where applicable).

Eligibility

To be eligible you must be a graduate studying a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics discipline or Finance/Economics with a strong FinTech/Technology inclination, and have completed your studies in 2025 or be a final-year undergraduate or Master’s student with all requirements met before September 2026.
