The Role

As a ICT Lecturer, you will play a key role in planning and delivering high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment on ICT courses. You will ensure positive student outcomes, contribute to curriculum development, and actively enhance the overall experience of our students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment.
  • Ensure positive student outcomes and meet academic performance targets.
  • Actively contribute to developing the ICT curricula based on national best practice.
  • Administer courses, contribute to marketing initiatives, and maintain compliance with College policies.
  • Participate in quality assurance procedures, including assessment and internal verification.
  • Support unemployed adult learners and remove barriers to training.

What You\\\’ll Bring

  • PGDE or other level 4+ teaching qualification.
  • Relevant English/Literacy qualifications, ideally at level 4.
  • Good organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Recent experience working with ICT in a workplace, ability to teach basic IT skills.
  • Effective and sensitive team player with tutorial skills.
  • Enthusiasm, drive, and the ability to work with limited direction.

Experience

  • Experience delivering ICT.
  • High levels of organisation and commitment to learning and development.
  • Ability and initiative to work independently but also thrive in a team environment.

Performance Evaluation

Your performance will be evaluated based on indicators such as student feedback, success rate data, observation, inspection reports, attendance data, recruitment and retention data, and more.
