Overview About the role: We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Electrician lecturer to join our team. You will teach students of varying abilities – from Level 1 to Level 3. You will work closely with the Curriculum Manager on the expansion and development of the department, helping us to deliver the highest quality education for every student. With your industry experience, you will help inspire the next generation of skilled experts, supporting people from all backgrounds to achieve their career and life ambitions. You will also promote the courses across the Electrical curriculum area, taking part in marketing events and sharing your experiences as an Electrician.Note: there is no fixed closing date; applications are considered as they come in until suitable applicants are interviewed.
Responsibilities
Teach Electrical qualification courses for students from Level 1 to Level 3.
Collaborate with the Curriculum Manager to expand and develop the department.
Inspire and support students from diverse backgrounds to achieve their career and life goals.
Promote Electrical courses through marketing events and share industry experience with learners.
Skills and Experience
Proven experience in teaching and/or relevant industry experience.
Minimum Level 2 literacy and numeracy (GCSE or equivalent).
Qualified FE teacher (or willing to work towards this).
Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate to class groups in an engaging way.
Effective administration skills to support accurate student record-keeping.
