About the role

Responsibilities
- You will be working in the Learning Centre supporting students and staff in all aspects of the use of the Learning Centres across mainly our Bromley and Orpington sites.
- Provide study skills and information retrieval skills support, and accessibility technology support.
- Support the development of and deliver study skills sessions (one to one or groups) and research, develop and maintain resources.
- Contribute to the development of e-learning strategies and resources.
- Promote the service with students and staff.
- Identify and respond to curriculum needs.
The role will be full time – 37 hours a week over 38 weeks.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a library environment or be familiar with a learning support role. To be successful you’ll need excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to effectively motivate and inspire others. You’ll also have exceptional organisational skills combined with strong digital skills, sound administration skills and preferably experience of using Library Management Systems.
