We are expanding our Early Years provision this September and are looking for an inspiring Early Years Teacher to join our vibrant, ambitious team. This is a permanent role starting in the Autumn term and offers a fantastic opportunity to help shape a growing department and make a real difference to our children and families.

At Woodside, you’ll be part of a collaborative, forward‑thinking staff team passionate about creating joyful, meaningful learning experiences. We offer a comprehensive, bespoke CPD programme throughout the year and pride ourselves on developing staff at every stage of their career.

All our pupils have an EHCP and are working significantly below age‑related expectations, so this role is ideal for teachers with experience or training in Early Years, Primary, or Specialist settings. We also welcome ECTs and those with experience in SEN and autism who are eager to grow their practice.

We follow an EYFS/Primary model of teaching all the way up to Year 13, with specialist teaching introduced from Year 10 onward – offering a unique opportunity to develop your skills across a wide range of ages while still working within a nurturing, Early Years‑informed approach.

Responsibilities

As a class teacher, you will:

  • Deliver high quality, personalised provision for children with autism and complex needs.
  • Plan, deliver and assess engaging lessons that meet EYFS/Primary and SEN standards.
  • Foster positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
  • Collaborate with the team to promote inclusive, supportive learning environments.

  • Excellent teaching experience or expertise with pupils with complex needs in EYFS/Primary/Special Needs.
