About LSE Students’ Union

The LSE Students’ Union (LSESU) is a vibrant and dynamic organization dedicated to enhancing the student experience at the London School of Economics and Political Science. Established to represent the interests of students, LSESU plays a crucial role in fostering a sense of community and belonging among its diverse membership.

At LSESU, we are committed to providing a wide range of services and activities that cater to the academic, social, and personal needs of our students. Our core activities include:

  • Representation: We advocate for student rights and ensure their voices are heard within the university and beyond.
  • Events and Activities: We organize a variety of events, from academic workshops to social gatherings, promoting engagement and networking opportunities.
  • Support Services: We offer various support services, including academic advice, mental health resources, and welfare assistance.
  • Clubs and Societies: With over 200 clubs and societies, we encourage students to pursue their interests and passions outside of the classroom.

Our vision is to create an inclusive environment where every student feels valued and empowered to make the most of their time at LSE. We strive to be a catalyst for positive change, both within the university and in the wider community.

Through collaboration with students, staff, and external partners, LSESU aims to enhance the overall student experience, ensuring that every individual can thrive academically and socially. Join us in making your time at LSE unforgettable!
