- Primary and secondary mental health care for children and adults, including specialist inpatient child and adolescent mental health provision, perinatal mental health, and forensic services with low and medium secure care.
- Specialist mental health inpatient care for individuals with learning disabilities, alongside specialist community support for children and adults with learning disabilities and autism, including intensive support.
- Extensive community physical health and well-being services for children and adults, covering prevention, treatment, rehabilitation, and long-term condition management.
The Trust was first established in 2002 and employs approximately 7,500 staff who provide care from more than 400 sites. We are seeking to recruit an experienced, enthusiastic and motivated note taker to undertake a unique role supporting someone with a hearing impairment on a flexible basis for up to 24 hours per week.
Your role will involve working as a Job Aide Working alongside a hearing impaired, Band 5 HR Advisor/Trainee HR Business partner supporting them with note taking/secretarial support.
The successful candidate will be required to provide a note taking service, face to face primarily in the Fylde area or virtual via MS Teams. The note taking will be required for a variety of meetings, including HR hearings and grievances.
When note taking isn’t required general administration duties within the HR Admin team will be undertaken.
The successful candidate will possess:
Previous administration experience supporting a busy team
Ability to manage time and workload effectively, working to deadlines with limited supervision
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent negotiation and influencing skills
Ability to be dynamic, speedy and accurate whilst remaining calm under pressure
Main duties of the job
The post holder will undertake a note taking service, either face to face primarily in the Fylde area or virtual via MS Teams. The note taking will be required for a variety of meetings, including case conferences, network meetings, formal disciplinary, grievance and sickness meetings and hearings.
When notetaking is not required you will provide a comprehensive, customer focused and efficient administration service supporting the Human Resources Directorate in assisting the Trust in achieving its strategic and operational objectives.
Key responsibilities
Provide a comprehensive administrative service primarily minute taking across the organisation, but primarily in the Fylde network face to face, or virtually via MS Teams
Produce correspondence as directed e.g. mass mailings, meeting minutes.
Demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy in written communication
Select appropriate methods of communication depending on the circumstances
Demonstrate tact and empathy during difficult and sensitive conversations
Liaise with customers regarding applications for Human Resources related schemes as appropriate
Promote the positive reputation of the Business Partnering team
Attend organised events and meetings if required
Participate fully in team/departmental meetings and activities
Support team and departmental colleagues in so far as is reasonable and practicable
Provide support, guidance and routine query resolution

Qualifications
- Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent in Maths and English
- NVQ/Diploma level III in HR / Administration or equivalent experience
- Evidence of competence in Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel
Knowledge
- Knowledge of employment records systems
- Awareness of legislation surrounding employment and data protection
Experience
- Experience of administration work and systems
- Experience of administration of an integrated database system
- Experience of prioritising work to meet deadlines
Skill and Abilities
- Good written communication skills to produce accurate correspondence
