Join Our Team as a Gymnastics and Dance Teacher in London! Are you passionate about physical education and inspiring young minds? We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Gymnastics Teacher to join our team in London. If you have a love for health & fitness and enjoy working with students, we want to hear from you!
Location: London (Harrow)
Salary: £140-£160 per day
Hours: 8 hours per week (Thursdays) - One day per week
About Us: LSC are a team of subject specialists who support primary schools across the UK with PPA cover. Our team of educators are dedicated to creating a supportive and engaging environment for our students.
Role Overview: As a Gymnastics & Dance Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective physical education lessons to primary school students. You will create a positive learning atmosphere, encourage student participation, and help students develop their physical skills and overall fitness.
Key Responsibilities- Lesson Planning: Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum and meet the needs of all students.
- Teaching: Deliver dynamic and interactive PE lessons that inspire and motivate students.
- Assessment: Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support to help them achieve their goals.
- Classroom Management: Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and respect.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the school's overall success.
- Professional Development: Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your teaching skills.
- Degree in Dance or Gymnastics or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (highly desirable).
- Previous experience teaching Dance & Gymnastics in UK primary schools.
- Proven track record of delivering engaging and effective lessons.
- Strong knowledge of physical education and fitness.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
