Security Engineer (SC Cleared) in Warwick

Overview

We have an exciting job opportunity for a Security Engineering Authority role at Warwick, Southern and Western Datacenters (Occasional visit). This is a contract position, initially for 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Deliver measurable activities as outlined in the Statement of Work.
• Take technical ownership of the customer’s security infrastructure estate, processes, procedures, documentation and lifecycle management contracted to Vodafone.
• Serve as the senior technical point of reference for all security-related projects, changes, or modifications to firewall rule bases.
• Act as the senior technical escalation point and interface into vendor support for all incidents related to the security infrastructure.
• Design customer networks, including support of high‑level and low‑level designs, provide technical support, change management for hard (physical) and soft (remote) changes, and manage customer inventory, hardware/software, and end‑of‑life.

Experience

Looking for a candidate with detailed experience supporting Checkpoint, Juniper, Bluecoat, F5, and knowledge of Cisco networking solutions including all major switching families, wireless technologies, Cisco IPT / QoS / 802.1x / Inflobox DNS, VPN technologies (IPsec, SSL VPN, DMVPN), and wide‑area network technologies including routing protocols.
