- Designing solutions to meet requirements of business users using SharePoint online and other M365 tools.
- Managing the migrations from SharePoint 2010 to SharePoint Online or other solutions, including data mapping, transition planning, and implementing best practices.
- Supporting migrated solutions in hyper care period following migration and troubleshooting issues.
- Adhering to ITIL processes (including Change Management, Problem Management and Major Incident Management).
- BAU operational support for SharePoint - resolving requests, incidents and problems for SharePoint, MS Stream, Power Apps infrastructures when on support, as part of a rota, in hours.
- Working with business analysts and business users to understand requirements and identify migration challenges.
- Ensuring that an appropriate balance is achieved between maintaining live services and delivering projects through active time management.
- Continuously improving the way the Bank of England uses SharePoint, M365 Apps for Business, OneDrive for Business, MS Stream and Power Apps and keeping up to date with the Office 365 roadmap to be able to recommend changes that will benefit our users.
- Engaging with external, 3rd party vendors for support purposes, and ensuring we drive value from our services.
- Providing training to end-users and internal SharePoint champions on best practices, features, and functionality.
- Empowering business users to meet their own needs via migrating their own content or using tools like PowerApps / Power Platform.
- Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the performance and usability of SharePoint environments.
