The Role
We are looking to recruit a Caged Van Driver/Operative-Labourer for our Caged Van waste removal service based out of our Fareham Site (PO15 6SD) who is able to work within a very small team and possess the skills and competencies to undertake this work activity.
The role of Caged Van Driver/Operative-Labourer involves:
- driving a 7.5 tonne caged van vehicle
- loading waste material onto the caged van with the assistance of another Operative/Labourer whilst working collaboratively as a team
- manually handling and lifting waste by removing it from site into the back of the caged van
- ensuring good housekeeping practices are maintained to a high standard at all times
- weekly/daily maintenance of the vehicle
- providing effective operational support to management.
