We're a food wholesale cash and carry based at Middleton Business Park in Willenhall, supplying fish and chip shops, pubs, cafes and caterers across the region. With over 60 years in the trade, we've built our reputation on quality, reliability and personal service.

This is a hands-on role at the commercial heart of the business; if you're a desk bound buyer who processes orders, this probably isn't for you. The role of Trade Buyer:

  • Own the purchasing function - keeping over 1,000 product lines stocked, priced right and moving
  • Monitor stock levels and reorder points, acting fast to prevent gaps before they become problems
  • Negotiate hard on pricing and terms with existing suppliers - and go looking for better ones
  • Identify and bring on new suppliers to sharpen the supply chain and protect margin
  • Work closely with the warehouse and sales teams to stay ahead of demand
  • Maintain accurate records using the stock control system
