The role:
You’ll provide cover for our telesales team during absences. Your main task will be calling regular customers - including chip shops, cafés, and catering vans - to take their weekly orders. Full training will be provided on our system and product codes.
Key responsibilities:
- Make or take approximately 30 calls per day to existing customers
- Accurately input orders using our internal system
- Support customer retention campaigns when cover isn’t required
- Assist in business development initiatives
- Handle general administration tasks throughout the day
The ideal candidate:
- Background in telesales, food service, or the fish and chip trade is advantageous but not essential
- Able to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Confident communicator with the ability to resolve customer issues professionally
