Role Purpose:

To undertake assessments against one or more of the Utility business sector schemes and those that are managed by other LRQA businesses, including but not limited to:

  • The National Electricity Registration Scheme (NERS)
  • Northern Power Grid Site Audits
  • Build Offsite Property Assurance Scheme (BOPAS)
  • Asset Management standards ISO55001
  • PAS128 Underground Utility Detection

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform on-site assessments within agreed broad parameters that include budget constraints and contractual requirements.
  • Produce assessment reports in an appropriate format, reviewing and monitoring other employees' work as requested.
  • Present the assessment outcomes to external clients at a senior level and suggest alternative solutions where appropriate.
  • Carry out routine administration as required in line with current processes and procedures.
  • Assess and recommend the time/value of work to be undertaken for an external client within an agreed fee/cost structure and within the commercial aspects of the contract.
  • Pursue CPD and maintain a high degree of discipline knowledge and awareness.
  • Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, accreditation schemes, legislation and industry standards.
  • Develop technically other employees, as appropriate, to achieve effective knowledge transfer and application.
  • Act as point of contact to effectively manage client and LRQA relationships, contributing to internal/external client management.
  • Make recommendations based on external client feedback to assist in service delivery improvement and help build the business.
  • Undertake project management where applicable, including monitoring project progress and spend against budget and contract requirements.
