The role is a Self Employed Fire Risk Assessor operating throughout the UK. The ability to assess and produce a Fire Risk Assessment for Retail, Hospitality, Manufacturing, Distribution Centres, both small operations and large scale sites and complex buildings.
Responsibilities
- Providing your monthly availability for the proposed work.
- Plan and manage the work given within the timescales agreed with the client.
- To keep your Line Manager or Lead Auditor appraised of client requests during audits.
- Allow Shadow and Witness Audits from the client, the line manager or senior team as required.
- To maintain Continuous Professional Development (CPD) and take on additional training as required when new clients are onboarded.
- Maintain a high level of IT skills in line with equipment and software used in the business and provide your own laptop or tablet for this work.
This is not an employed position but that of a \βSelf-Employed Contractor\β.
Qualifications
- You will need to have proven and previous experience in the completion of Fire Risk Assessments in a variety of properties including complex buildings.
- 3 years minimum experience and have a recognised professional qualification in fire safety management and fire risk assessments from credible providers such as the Fire Protection Association, Fire Industry Association or NEBOSH.
- Need to be on the Institute of Fire Engineers Register of Fire Risk Assessors or a similar industry related scheme.
