Job Description:

We are looking for

a Marketing Manager to support our cyber division who is results oriented, proactive, flexible and enthusiastic about being a part of a best-in-class regional marketing team. It is imperative that you have a strong attention to detail and solid communications skills. If you have experience developing, implementing, measuring and continually improving growth-driven marketing plans to deliver lead generation and brand awareness in the cybersecurity market, we want to hear from you.

Role purpose:

The Marketing Manager is an experienced marketing professional who will be responsible for:

  • Execution of the growth-driven marketing plans and campaigns for LRQA’s cybersecurity division, under the direction of the Regional Marketing Manager and in line with global strategy and global campaign plans.
  • Delivery and continual optimisation of marketing campaigns so that we can demonstrate that the right marketing messages/campaigns are reaching the right clients at the right time, resulting in lead generation, cross and upsell opportunities, and increased brand awareness, consideration, advocacy and loyalty.
  • Working within the Regional marketing team to maximise efficiencies, effectiveness and apply marketing campaign and channel best practice.
  • Input into and follow best practice frameworks and insights to drive effective and efficient growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Campaign planning and execution: Develop and execute multi-channel marketing plans and targeted campaigns aligned with global strategy, brand guidelines, and growth objectives for cybersecurity solutions.
  • Content development and messaging alignment: Ensure campaigns leverage approved, centrally developed content and client value propositions, applying best practice frameworks and segmentation strategies to maximise engagement, lead generation, and brand awareness. Lead on development of marketing content where needed, to support campaigns specific to the UKI region.
  • Channel management: Use appropriate marketing channels—including website, social media, email, events, webinars, online advertising, PPC, retargeting, PR, and content localisation to reach target audiences effectively.
  • Collaboration and stakeholder engagement: Work closely with the regional marketing manager, sales, technical teams, agencies, and other internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and effective campaign delivery within budget.
  • Performance reporting and optimisation: Provide regular reports on campaign effectiveness and engagement, using insights to improve lead generation, brand positioning, and strategic alignment.
  • Thought leadership and PR delivery: Support the implementation of PR strategies to enhance LRQA’s brand visibility, thought leadership, and relationships with key industry associations and stakeholders.
  • Cross-functional contribution: Collaborate across marketing, sales, and operations to support business growth in line with strategic focus areas, including transactional, strategic, and global accounts.
  • Market intelligence: Monitor competitor activities and industry insights to inform marketing strategy and positioning.

Technical / Professional Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Degree-level education in marketing or a related discipline, with a minimum of four years’ experience in BB marketing, including campaign coordination and execution. Equivalent experience in a similar BB marketing role will also be considered.
  • Experience in the cybersecurity, certification, testing, inspection and compliance (TIC), or professional assurance services sectors is advantageous but not essential.
  • Proven experience in delivering transactional and account-based marketing (ABM) campaigns, ideally within a BB or professional services environment. Demonstrated ability to support campaign and channel execution to drive business outcomes.
  • Confidence with relevant digital marketing tools and platforms, including Microsoft Dynamics, Optimizely, Google Analytics, Hootsuite, SEMrush, or similar systems.
  • Experience in analysing campaign performance data, preparing reports, and making recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Highly organised and adaptable, with a practical mindset and the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively within regional and global teams. A proactive, results-oriented team player with a flexible, “can-do” attitude.
  • Self-motivated, optimistic, and resilient, with a calm and professional approach in a variety of situations. Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to seek guidance when needed.

Key health and safety responsibilities:

Eliminate or minimise employee\’s exposure to risks by reviewing, regularly, the health and safety risk register, applying appropriate controls, communicating results of risk assessment and ensuring health and safety is considered in the planning and execution of all LRQA activities.

Manage your own compliance with health and safety rules, instructions, systems and legal requirements, ensuring you are suitably trained and adequate resources are available to work safely.

Monitor and review health and safety performance, observe safety behaviours in the workplace, taking appropriate corrective and preventive action as necessary and suggesting and implementing improvement activities.
