The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.
A transverse role with a mix of duties which include supporting and coordinating packages of work for the delivery of conformity assessment contracts for UK Nuclear New Build and Conventional Pressure Equipment Projects to the agreed scope, specification, time scale and costs. Client interface and communication will be required. The role may involve single projects or a portfolio of projects for one or more client contracts.
Duties include:
- Supporting Project Managers (PMs) with the delivery of project work packages
- Oversight and reporting of cost, time, revenue and margins for project work packages
- Support PMs with resource planning, organisation and management as necessary
- Support and undertake documentation control and monitoring of work package schedules and financial tracking
- Undertake specific and routine administration as required in line with current processes and procedures
- Provide regular work package reviews and reporting to PMs
- Assess the risks and work in a safe manner at all times, robustly implement health and safety rules, instructions and systems and refuse to undertake work that compromises safety or health
- Provide regular reports and support to PMs for client interface and technical delivery challenges
Experience & Qualifications:
- Practical experience of Project and/or Work Package management
- Proven ability to expedite technical personnel to support work package completion on time and to the required quality
- Strong customer focus and proven track record in managing client relationships
- Appreciation of UK Nuclear New Build Requirements (Desirable) and knowledge of UK Regulations for pressure equipment (new and in-service – Desirable)
- A significant number of years of relevant work experience as a project coordinator or team coordinator
- High attention to detail, curious, adaptable and well organised with a practical minded approach and the ability to work to tight deadlines
- Possessing good communication skills (written and verbal)
- Pragmatic, empathetic and credible with stakeholders and has a high standard of personal presentation
