Working as part of a Group Reporting and controls team, this position supports with the production of the risk and controls matrix and also the management of the balance sheet review process.
Key Activities
- Support with the production of the finance Risk and Controls Matrix (RaCM)
- Assist with the development of a risk-based internal control framework aligned with COSO and other best practices.
- Develop productive working relationships with other Group functions within the Centre of Excellence such as Group Tax, Group Treasury and Group FPA in addition to Global Statutory & Compliance teams and team leaders within the Group’s SSC and finance support teams.
- Responsibility for the administration of the balance sheet monthly review process to include scheduling, following up on actions and assisting the business with the completion of these actions.
- Responsibility for quality reviews within the balance sheet process
- Conduct control testing and risk assessments to evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of key controls
- Ad hoc projects as requested by the Director of group reporting and Head of Financial Controls
