Little Red Panda (LRP) is a highly regarded fashion e-Commerce content production studio based in Hackney - the beating heart of East London. We work with huge global labels to new niche brands making their mark as the next big trend. We strive to make our studio a friendly and positive environment and aim to nurture our photographers, retouchers and assistants to become the best they can be in this challenging and rewarding sector.

We are looking for an energetic Stock Assistant to join our production team. The position would suit a highly organised photography or fashion graduate with a background in stock assistance who is looking to move into the production side of the fashion e-commerce industry. You will be required to follow clear instructions from the Stock Coordinator but also work alone to ensure your daily tasks are completed. This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday at our studios with an annual salary of £25,400.

Tasks include:

  • Accepting and logging client products on arrival into LRP stock systems.
  • Assisting with the movement of products between couriers and LRP production involving some heavy lifting of boxes and rails.
  • Ensuring 100% duty care of all our client's products at LRP Studios.
  • Preparation of client products for photography including steaming, pressing, racking and railing covering apparel, accessories and footwear.
  • Ensuring all client products are in the right place at the right time across prep, storage photography and retouch colour matching.
  • Constant monitoring and organising rotational control of all studio product stock.
  • Arrangement of logistics for deliveries and returns via various courier accounts.
  • Trouble-shoot any stock issues in a timely manner and communicate findings to relevant team members.
  • Awareness of the status, location and readiness of all outstanding products to shoot ensuring nothing has been missed.
  • Ensuring product returns are clearly logged and dispatched in a timely manner.
  • Reporting to Stock Coordinator on a regular basis, overviewing stock movements and potential discrepancies.

Skills and Background Required:

  • Education qualification to degree level in fashion/photography or equivalent.
  • Proven background in stock control with the ability to understand the importance of our clients' products.
  • Ability to lift and move large boxes when required.
  • Speed and energy to work in a fast-paced studio environment dealing with models, still life, mannequin and flat lay apparel photography products.
  • Ability to present products to the photography teams in a clear and precise way whilst relaying any details via the internal studio messaging system.
  • A highly positive attitude to working in the fashion industry.
  • Proven knowledge and ability to work with macOS.
  • Ability to work as an individual but able to take and act on clear instructions quickly and efficiently.
  • Willingness and ability to steam large amounts of product whilst multitasking.
  • A keen eye for organising equipment and studio spaces with a problem-solving, can-do attitude.
  • Great timekeeping and self-motivation.
  • Ability to easily get to and from LRP Studios in Hackney on a weekday basis.
  • Desire to work and progress in the area of studio production as opposed to photography or retouching.
