We’re looking for an Electrical Project Manager who gets things done. Not someone who hides behind spreadsheets or blames the programme—someone who owns the job from day one to final handover. If you know how to take control of a project, drive standards on site, and deliver results without drama, keep reading.

The Role

  • You’ll be running electrical installation projects end-to-end. That means planning, coordinating, pushing progress, and making sure nothing slips.
  • You won’t be babysat. You’ll be trusted to lead.
  • Own projects from pre-construction through to completion.
  • Build and drive programmes that actually reflect reality.
  • Keep labour, materials, and subcontractors aligned and productive.
  • Stay on top of costs, variations, and commercial performance.
  • Lead site teams with clarity and authority.
  • Work closely with main contractors and other trades—no silos, no excuses.
  • Ensure everything is delivered safely, compliantly, and to a high standard.

What Success Looks Like

  • Projects delivered on time.
  • Budgets protected (or improved).
  • Sites running efficiently and safely.
  • Clients confident and informed.
  • Problems solved early—not escalated late.

What You Bring

  • Proven track record managing electrical installation projects.
  • Strong commercial awareness—you understand cost, value, and margin.
  • Solid knowledge of commercial electrical systems and site operations.
  • The ability to juggle multiple projects without dropping standards.
  • Clear, direct communication—you say what needs to be said.

The Must-Haves

  • Experience leading electrical projects in a construction environment.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills.
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and hit deadlines.

Bonus Points (Not Deal Breakers)

  • NVQ Level 3 Electrical (or equivalent).
  • SMSTS / SSSTS.
  • ECS / CSCS.

The Bottom Line - This role is for someone who takes ownership. If you’re the type who steps up, takes control, and delivers—this is a strong opportunity to make an impact. If you need constant direction or avoid tough decisions, this won’t be the right fit. If this is a position of interest please send an updated CV asap.
