Job Summary and key responsibilities

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Act in line with the Group’s purpose, values, and policies at all times.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships across the Group.
  • Promote employee engagement initiatives, including encouraging Glassdoor reviews.
  • Ensure strict confidentiality of all employee and company information in line with data protection legislation and internal policies.
  • Promote and adhere to the Group’s Equality and Diversity policy in all areas.
  • HR Administration & Processes:
  • Provide administrative support across key HR processes, including new starters, internal changes, and leavers.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in at least one key HR process, with additional responsibilities in other areas.
  • Administer periodic contract roll-outs and updates.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records across personnel files and HR systems (HRIS).
  • Ensure data accuracy and support regular data cleansing activities.
  • Produce and maintain departmental activity reports.
  • Employee Support & Queries:
  • Act as a first point of escalation for HR queries via phone and email.
  • Respond to general HR queries, including providing employee information where appropriate.
  • Manage holiday entitlement queries and undertake annual holiday calculations.
  • Compliance & Checks:
  • Carry out pre-employment checks, including right to work verification and credit checks where required.
  • Ensure all compliance documentation is received and recorded accurately.
  • HR Processes & Projects:
  • Support the administration of the annual salary review process.
  • Assist in the performance review cycle, including tracking and reporting completion.
  • Provide support on HR projects and initiatives as required.
  • Collaborate with HR Advisors on various HR initiatives and projects.
  • Operational Effectiveness:
  • Manage workload effectively to meet service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Adapt to changes, including new systems, processes, and ways of working.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as required to support the wider HR function.
