Our client, a high profile, boutique law firm with an international presence, is seeking an experienced and credible practice manager to join them on a 12-month FTC starting in the new year.

A fast-paced and client facing environment, the firm is seeking a polished and impressive candidate that is used to working in a strategic, senior capacity and is a strong ambassador for the firm.

This role has considerable operational, HR, project management, and line management responsibility and is well suited to someone “muck-in” who enjoys variety in their day-to-day. As well as overseeing the day-to-day operations of the practice, the candidate can expect to be involved in developing and implementing best practice, assisting with companywide events, marketing/BD initiatives, as well as ensuring compliance is met with relevant legal and regulatory requirements and acting as POC for audits and reviews and overseeing client onboarding and KYC procedures. On top of this the candidate will be involved in line managing three more junior members of the admin team and is expected to be a pillar of common sense and visible lynchpin for the wider team.

The ideal candidate is likely to come from a legal background or have previous exposure/involvement in the industry and understand its demands. Designed to cover a maternity contract, immediate candidates are preferred, and as it stands, the contract is designed to run for at least 12 months. Whilst the predominant focus of this role is operational, the current practice manager does provide some EA support to the founders of the firm and future candidates can expect to do the same. A fantastic role with huge scope and involvement. Hybrid work offering.
