Our client, a growing private equity firm with stunning new offices in the West End, is seeking an impressive and experienced Head of Operations / Office Manager to join their team. This is a newly created and highly visible role — the first senior, strategic administrative hire — offering a unique opportunity to shape and implement operational excellence within a scaling, high-performing environment.
This position will suit a candidate from a comparable professional services or investment background who thrives in a fast-paced, high-expectation setting. You will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team, becoming a trusted partner and instrumental in building the infrastructure needed to support the firm’s continued growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership
- Implement and refine processes to drive operational excellence
- Establish best-in-class administrative standards and procedures
- Support the SLT with strategic coordination and execution
- Lead the build-out of the administrative function
- Manage hiring, onboarding, and performance review processes
- Mentor and develop future team members
- Oversee day-to-day office operations
- Manage key vendor and building relationships
- Ensure a seamless and high-calibre workplace experience
- Own the quarterly board meeting process end-to-end
- Coordinate international travel, visas, and accommodation
- Curate exceptional hotel, restaurant, and event experiences
- Deliver ad hoc projects and corporate events as required
The Candidate
- Proven experience in a senior Office Manager / Operations role within private equity, investment, or a comparable professional services environment
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and confidence working with senior stakeholders
- Strong experience in recruitment, onboarding, and performance management
- Highly organised with meticulous attention to detail
- Proactive, solutions-driven, and able to operate with discretion and sound judgement
