We are working with an asset management organisation to recruit an experienced PA to support their General Counsel. This is a trusted and pivotal role, requiring exceptional attention to detail, discretion and the ability to manage confidential information. The successful candidate will be an accomplished Legal PA who thrives in a professional, fast-paced corporate environment. An interest in real estate would be advantageous.
The Role
You will provide comprehensive PA and legal secretarial support to the General Counsel. The role is varied and process-driven, combining diary management, document production and legal administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Typing, editing and formatting legal documents and reports to a high standard
- Dictation and audio typing
- Document engrossment and execution
- Extensive diary management
- Assisting with the preparation, collation and circulation of reports
- Tracking documents through approval processes and ensuring timely sign-off
- Electronic filing, scanning, photocopying, binding and shredding
- Tracking completed documents, e-filing and liaising with internal archiving functions
- Cataloguing documents in preparation for off-site scanning and maintaining internal archives
- Booking and setting up meeting rooms
- Greeting visitors and arranging couriers
- Invoice and general administrative support
- Providing holiday and absence cover
- Any additional PA or secretarial duties as required
Skills & Experience
- Secretarial or administrative qualification (e.g. ILS, CILEX or equivalent)
- Proven experience in a corporate or professional services environment
- Outstanding attention to detail and document accuracy
- Highly organised, process-driven and able to manage multiple priorities
- Comfortable working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines
- Discreet, professional and confident handling confidential information
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills
- Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat
- Proactive, positive and willing to learn
- A collaborative team player
