We are partnering with a successful and fast-growing financial services organisation to recruit an exceptional Executive Assistant to support their General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer.

This is a pivotal role at the heart of a high-performing Legal and Compliance function, offering exposure to senior leadership and Board-level activity within a dynamic, intellectually rigorous environment.

The Role

This is a senior-level EA position requiring confidence, discretion and the ability to operate seamlessly in a fast-paced, regulated environment. You will provide comprehensive support to the General Counsel while working closely with Legal, Compliance and Company Secretarial teams.

You will play a central role in ensuring the smooth coordination of Board meetings, senior stakeholder engagement and day-to-day executive operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complex diary management for the General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer, including forward planning and conflict resolution
  • Supporting the Legal and Compliance teams with administrative and operational coordination
  • Close liaison with Company Secretarial teams and senior Board members
  • Organising and coordinating Board and Committee meetings throughout the year
  • Assisting with Board strategy days and related events
  • Coordinating production and distribution of Board materials
  • Managing senior stakeholder meetings, including regulators and external advisors
  • Booking travel (flights, hotels, visas, itineraries) and managing expenses
  • Supporting presentations and reports (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
  • Processing invoices and onboarding vendors
  • Organising team events and offsites
  • Supporting new joiners with system access and onboarding logistics
  • Providing holiday cover for other Executive Assistants

About You

  • Significant experience as an Executive Assistant supporting C-suite or senior executives. Experience within financial services or professional services is highly desirable
  • Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment
  • Discreet and comfortable handling sensitive, confidential information
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Proactive, solutions-oriented and able to anticipate needs
  • Advanced MS Office skills (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Professional, polished and confident working with senior stakeholders
