LRA Search are currently working on an exciting, senior, Operations Director role for a longstanding client in the property consultancy space. A credible and impressive firm, with a strong reputation in the market and superb staff retention, this is a new role designed to optimize the operational backbone and efficiency of one of the firms’ busiest teams.
The Operations Director will be responsible for translating the Partners/SLT’S strategic vision into operational excellence and ensuring continuous execution across all non-project delivery functions. This role requires a combination of strategic foresight, operational rigor, and cross-functional leadership to drive growth, enhance performance, and foster a high-performing culture.
Candidates can expect to be highly involved in implementing the strategies laid out by the partners and ensuring that all corresponding KPIs, and attached compliance is adhered to. They will oversee all core operational functions, including administration, resource planning, compliance, and internal systems, and will lead cross-functional initiatives to modernise systems, automate processes, and improve service delivery.
The ideal candidate is someone who will proactively identify operational risks and implement mitigation strategies to safeguard business continuity and resilience. They will also be involved in people centric projects and decision making, such as recruitment and succession planning, as well as playing a principal part in high-impact strategic projects, such as ESG initiatives, framework submissions, and business development efforts.
A substantial and varied role, we are seeking a super competent candidate with a minimum of 5 years in a comparable, operational/leadership style role, ideally within a consultancy or professional services environment. We are seeking a commercially minded, emotionally intelligent candidate with superb communication skills who has a proven track record of success in driving operational transformation.
Expertise in governance, compliance, and process optimization, as well as proficiency in ERP systems, data analytics, and performance management tools is a huge bonus.
