LR Talent are exclusively partnering with a fast-growing financial planning consolidator, scaling nationally through acquisition. As the business grows, so does the need for a dedicated HR function- and that's where you come in! This is a genuine opportunity to build an HR function from the ground up. As the standalone HR Manager, reporting directly to the COO, you'll be the first dedicated HR hire in the business, shaping policy, process, and culture as the group continues to expand through acquisition.

Please note: we are only considering candidates with a background in financial planning, wealth management, or an advice consolidator environment. Applications outside this sector unfortunately won't be progressed.

What you'll be doing:

  • Leading HR integration for newly acquired firms - TUPE, harmonising terms and conditions, and supporting cultural integration
  • Owning employee relations casework across the group - disciplinary, grievance, performance and conduct matters
  • Building HR infrastructure and policy from scratch, with scope to grow a small team as the function matures
  • Partnering closely with the COO and wider leadership team on people strategy

What we're looking for:

  • Background in financial planning, wealth management or an advice consolidator environment (ESSENTIAL)
  • Proven HR generalist experience in a standalone or small team HR function
  • Proven M&A/integration experience - you've handled TUPE and post-acquisition harmonisation before
  • Strong employee relations background, confident running casework independently
  • Experience building an HR function from the ground up, not just operating within an established one

What's on offer:

  • Salary: £75,000 + discretionary bonus
  • Location: Fully remote (UK-based), with travel to regional offices nationwide as required
  • Holidays: 25+1 days holiday (rising to 30) + bank holidays
  • Benefits: Pension, life assurance (4x salary), private medical insurance, income protection, enhanced family leave, and EBT participation
