Family Solicitor - LocumLocation: Bristol (office-based, hybrid or remote depending on the firm)Rate: Competitive hourly rateJob Type: LocumWe are working with a number of reputable firms across Bristol seeking experienced Locum Family Solicitors to support their teams on a short- to medium-term basis.The RoleAs a Locum Solicitor, you will hit the ground running with a broad caseload of Family matters, including:Manage a caseload of family law matters, including divorce, financial settlements, children's issues, prenuptial agreements and emergency applications.Provide expert advice to clients, ensuring clear communication and high levels of client care throughout the process.Represent clients in hearings and at court, where applicable.Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, court applications and settlement agreements.Work collaboratively with the family law team, sharing expertise and supporting colleagues when needed.Adapt quickly to changing case demands and deadlines, ensuring the smooth running of files.Skills & ExperienceQualified solicitor with significant experience in family law (preferably 3+ years).Strong track record in managing a varied family law caseload, with experience in both private and public law matters.Ability to hit the ground running with minimal supervision.Experience of managing urgent and time-sensitive matters, including emergency orders and urgent applications.Excellent communication and client care skills.Ability to work independently and manage your own time effectively.What We OfferCompetitive hourly rate or daily rate.Flexible working arrangements (including potential for remote working).A supportive team environment with the flexibility that locum positions offer.Opportunity for further locum assignments or longer-term opportunities, depending on performance and firm requirements.Potential to work with well-established and highly respected family law specialists.Exposure to a variety of firms - from high street practices to regional firms
